{"id":2413,"date":"2013-11-18T15:44:38","date_gmt":"2013-11-18T15:44:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/web.ismt.pt\/wp\/oimtnews\/?p=2413"},"modified":"2013-11-18T15:44:38","modified_gmt":"2013-11-18T15:44:38","slug":"6-senior-social-workers-west-of-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oimt.ismt.pt\/?p=2413","title":{"rendered":"6 Senior Social Workers \u2013 West of London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We are looking for Senior Social Workers who:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are HCPC registered (or registration close to completion)<\/li>\n<li>Have experience in child protection, managing risk and court work<\/li>\n<li>Are experienced in, or capable of supervising a small number of staff<\/li>\n<li>Are creative, resourceful, open minded and have excellent English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On offer is support whilst getting to know the UK social care system, settlement support in moving to the UK and 3 weeks\u2019 paid temporary accommodation<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct work with children, young people and their families, including assessments<\/li>\n<li>Case management, including the most vulnerable clients with complex problems<\/li>\n<li>Care proceedings and court work i.e. the legal requirements relating to safeguarding children and young people in need, or at risk of significant harm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Areas of work are: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Family Support e.g. Child Protection, Children in Need, Triage\/Referral and Assessment \u00a0<em><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Looked After Children i.e. children who are in the care of the state with foster carers or children\u2019s homes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates will be interviewed by skype in the first instance.
